In our case we have the Windows update workload remaining slid over to the Configuration Manager side, and GPO set to prevent access to local windows update features and prevent automatic updates via windows update (ConfigMgr handles this all by manually triggering based on deployments). supersceding windows ADMX with windows 11 ADMX - I've asked the person assigned to our case for clarification here as well. I guess we're not supposed to manage windows 10 clients with windows 11 ADMX templates, and they do appear to update them in parallel vs. I've done some testing in a lab environment comparing the two, here's the screenshot below. I believe Microsoft forgot to include that setting in the updated Windows 10 ADMX templates.
There's the latest version of Windows 10 ADMX templates (published in March 2022), which do not include the setting u/teacheswithtech mentioned, and there are Windows 11 ADMX templates published in late 2021 that DO have the setting available. We're seeing this happen the past few weeks now. Tracking this and have an MS case open as well.
